Steve Hill

Group SHEQ Director

As Group SHEQ Director, Steve is responsible for ensuring all aspects of manufacturing are carried out to the highest possible quality, with health and safety at the centre of all operations.

Steve has more than 30 years’ experience in the industry, starting his career on the shop floor, right through to Technical Director. He has extensive experience across Manufacturing, Surveying, and Installations.

Over the years, Steve has built up a wealth of Fenestration knowledge, this has enabled him to work with supply partners and support the customer base on everything from New Product Development, Industry Regulation changes and General Consumer advice.


Phil Walker

Managing Director – Polyframe

As managing director at Polyframe, Phil was brought in to review and revise the Lenwade site and operation.

As a turnaround specialist, Phil has worked with the team to develop a facility that can deliver high quality product ranges to commercial, residential, or social housing customers.

Phil’s previous roles include working with the commercial division at Anglian Windows, managing delivery for large social housing and public sector projects, and he has also worked in the automotive, utilities and chemical manufacturing sectors during an extensive career.


Glen Sabin

Executive Chairman

In his role as Executive Chairman for Customade Group, Glen is supporting and advising the senior management team on implementing business improvement initiatives and the development of long-term business strategy that will deliver greater value and benefits for stakeholders.

Glen has more than 45 years’ experience in the construction industry, having started as an engineer before moving into a commercial career that has involved key roles with Redland plc, Marshalls plc, and notably, the Polypipe Group (recently renamed Genuit Group) where he held an instrumental role in leading the group through a period of significant growth and investment.


Nick Roberts


As the CEO of Customade Group, Nick has been entrusted to assess and oversee the reorganisation of the group to better meet the needs and demands of customers.

Nick has held key roles at companies from Anglian Home Improvements, United Utilities and Glanbia, and has specialised in bringing transformational change to businesses in order to help them achieve growth.


Rachel Rolfe

Group HR Director

Rachel has over 25 years’ experience in Human Resources, the majority of which has been within the fenestration sector having previously held roles at Duraflex and UK Window Group.

At Customade Group Rachel is responsible for HR across the businesses in the group and is working with the senior management team to develop the group as an employer of choice.


Rachel Smith

Group Marketing Director

As Group Marketing Director of the Customade Group, Rachel oversees marketing operations across our various business units. Alongside monitoring market trends, supporting product and service innovations and developing customer insights, Rachel will be responsible for implementing our brand and communications strategies Group wide.

With over 20 years’ experience in various marketing roles within the construction and manufacturing industries, Rachel believes that the marketing function should be the voice of the customer, ensuring that the customer is at the heart of everything we do.


David Wheatcroft

Managing Director – Virtuoso

David Wheatcroft has a wealth of experience in management and executive roles in different sectors.

David brings this experience to bear in understanding the needs of customers and stakeholders and ensuring that they continue to enjoy a productive relationship. He is also tasked with developing and implementing commercial strategies to continue Virtuoso’s dynamic growth and identify opportunities for expansion.


Dean Thomas

Managing Director – Aluminium

Dean is the managing director of the Aluminium Division, overseeing REAL, Atlas and Fineline Aluminium within the Customade Group.

Dean has vast experience in the manufacturing sector, including key roles for car part manufacturers and RICOH – a multinational imaging and electronics company.


Will Gold

Managing Director – Trade Outlets

Will has been the Managing Director of Stevenswood since 2019, having previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer for two years. During his time with the business Stevenswood has developed into a leading distributor and merchant of uPVC and aluminium windows, door, glass systems and conservatories with 26 branches and trade counters throughout England and Scotland.

Will is an advocate of a strong team-based culture and has instilled a drive to improve through the use of market-leading systems, real time data and processes which is providing the platform for offering one of the best customer services in the industry.
