The Transport team is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of up to 850 products a day. The Manager is responsible for planning the routes, and organising the drivers’ timetables, but they require the support of an Administrator, so that all the paperwork is accurate and customers are informed. Training will be provided especially in the use of a bespoke system. 


Main Tasks and Duties / Responsibilities:  

  • Generate daily loading schedules, and related paperwork, at least one day before actual delivery date
  • Implement last changes to existing loads the day before actual delivery date, and accommodate and reflect changes made to pre-agreed routes. (Adaptability is key as route planning has to consider many variables)
  • Liaise with Customer Service and Production for any specific requests that require exceptional arrangements
  • Liaise with Suppliers whose products transit via our site, and record accurate data
  • Contact customers to check any possible scanning or delivery errors
  • Liaise with Drivers and making sure their folders have the right documents, ready to go
  • Check through returned signed delivery notes, alert Customer Service if feedback needs acting upon, then scan them to a folder
