Polyframe has ambitious plans for future growth, and we are now looking for an equally ambitious Quality and Continuous Improvement Engineer to join us in our mission to provide the best customer service, by supplying quality products reliably. 


Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 

  • Working with the Technical Manager within the Commercial Operations team you will assist in promoting a positive cultural shift towards achieving a “Right First Time” approach. Embedding quality at a cellular level, manage and remove variation and drive process improvement by utilising key tools & techniques such as control plans, audits, training, and competency assessments. Whilst ensuring that the custodians of document control and record keeping are kept updated, you will ensure our systems are maintained throughout and followed up through regular audits and reviews. 

 

  • To utilise modern manufacturing techniques aimed at bringing significant business improvements, alongside training and development needs. Tasks change frequently to satisfy ever-changing demands, requiring demonstration of significant versatility and a flair for adaptability. 

 

  • Experience of working in manufacturing industry and familiar with ISO9001 would be beneficial. 

 

  • Ability to communicate effectively within a team and engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business with excellent verbal and written communication and good attention to detail.

 

  • Well organised, disciplined, and self-motivated, with the capability to balance multiple priorities.   

 

  • Hands on, hardworking, motivated with a can-do attitude.

 

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
