Polyframe is a leading fabricator of uPVC windows with a busy and expanding production facility based in Lenwade, Norfolk. With strong business performance we are now looking for an Operations Assistant to join the team.

Responsible to: Operations Director/Production Shift Manager

Responsible for: Production Supervisor, Production Cell Leaders, Production Operatives  

 

Job Purpose:

Working as part of the Operations Team ensure all of the administrative duties at strategic level are maintained, forecast labour with production schedules with the Operations Director. Provide and support the Production team with technical assistance to ensure products meet deliveries on time.


Responsibilities/main tasks and duties:

 

  • Ensuring all morning management reports are completed by 9.30 am daily
  • Prepare weekly reports, update and maintain
  • Update Time & Attendance system
  • Spray Shop and Shapes planning
  • Remake/Recut monitoring
  • Address technical issues relating to production
  • Manage and update skills matrix working with shift Management Team
  • Maintaining metrics/KPI's (OTIF,AOTIF,FPMH, RFT, Cost-to-Quality), reports, process documentation, training and Health& Safety records.
  • OTIF – On Time in Full/Advance On Time In Full/Frame Per Man Hour/Right First Time
  • Assist in driving a zero-tolerance mindset for deviation from the use of quality processes to ensure customer deliveries are fully met and waste is reduced
  • Attend 2 daily SIM meetings, carry out inspections of production areas, ensuring smooth running and compliance with SOP's and H&S

Essential Experience:

  • Experience gained working in a high pace production/manufacturing environment
