Due to expanding production throughout the Group, we are now looking to recruit a Merchandising Manager. 

In this role you will support our customers to develop their sales and product strategies. This is national role so the successful candidate will be expected to plan an effective week with multiple calls across all client groups. You will deliver training and support across both technical and sales elements and should be well verse in both. You will be able to confidently discuss all routes to market and provide support and advise on how Customade can support their growth. 

You will of course, be a natural communicator, capable of communicating across all levels from business owners through to counter staff. You will deliver your training with energy and enthusiasm that will motivate everyone around you.

Key Elements of the Role

  • Develop, build, and maintain successful sustainable relationships with our customers, to ensure the maximisation of the opportunity.
  • Support the growth of our own trade counter business, Stevenswood, by working closely with their commercial teams.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Directors to develop new initiatives for the growth of existing product lines and to launch new ones.
  • Effectively plan your week to maximise time with clients.
  • Provide weekly report detailing activity, opportunities, and outcomes of meetings.

Key Skills

  • Be able to relate to people at all levels within the organisation, to ensure the ability to work within a team to achieve the desired results for the customer.
  • Demonstrate the ability to present to individuals as well as larger groups
  • Excellent knowledge of the fenestration sector in both a technical and customer facing capacity.
  • Good business acumen with an ability to understand the main routes to market and align that with presentations.
  • Efficient journey planning and time management skills.
