Improved PVCu Window Energy Ratings, Now Up To A+7!

One of only a handful of PVCu windows available in the marketplace to meet an impressive A+7 Window Energy Rating (WER) is now available from Customade.

The A+7 window joins a further 11 newly tested windows that are certified by the British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) as having a WER from A to C, providing customers with a comprehensive offering that will suit any application.

As part of Customade’s commitment to continuous product development and to help ready customers for the proposed changes to Building Regulations Part L later in 2010, the improved range of 12 energy rated windows no longer need additional insulation in the window frames and are available in either slim or intermediate outer frames and feature Swisspacer V spacer bars as standard. Customade energy rated windows are also certified as ‘Energy Saving Recommended’ by the Energy Saving Trust.
